Anti-personnel mine found in Georgian town near South Ossetia (Georgia)
An anti-personnel mine has been discovered in Gori [Georgian town south of the South Ossetia conflict zone].
Kavkas-Press's regional correspondent reports that the mine was found on the premises of a newly-opened stadium which is very popular with young people.
A bomb squad was called to the scene to defuse the mine. Law-enforcement have not made any comment on the incident.
A check of the premises did not turn up any more mines.
According to some reports, a note was attached to the mine.
