Armenia Can Take Part in Demining Israeli-Lebanese Conflict Zone (ARMENIA)


YEREVAN. Armenia can take part in the mine clearance work in Lebanon, RA Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan told a press conference. He pointed out that the Lebanese Government made this request before the Lebanese-Israeli conflict, considering the Armenian experience in this process.

"However, Armenia cannot be involved in this mission until the Israeli side provides necessary data. So we have to expect the maps and stabilization of the situation," the Minister said.

He stressed that the issue of Armenia's participation is a peace-making mission in the conflict zone is on the Armenian Government's agenda, and the form of participation is being discussed.
