Arms, Ammo & Explosives Found from Paddy-Field (Sri Lanka)

TRINCOMALEE: On information received from civilians, troops conducted a search in the general area of BARATHIPURAM, TRINCOMALEE Thursday (1) around 6.30 p.m. and recovered one claymore mine of 15 kg, two claymore mines of 5 kg, seven 07 m of detonator codes, five T ' 56 magazines (T-56) with fifty seven rounds, three remote control devices, one electrical circuit, 750 g of C4 explosive, one 12 v battery, six bottles of medicine, twelve pen torch batteries, one claymore stand and one pouch.


These items were found dumped in an abandoned paddy-field.
