Azerbaidschan: Landminen töten Zivilisten


Am 2. und 15. April 2013 sterben zwei Menschen durch Landminen, die an der Konfliktlinie zwischen Azerbaidschan und Berg-Karabach verlegt sind. (in Englisch)

Unfortunately the mine war in Azerbaijan continues and one more Azerbaijani civilian died after explosion of landmine.

According to the information received from the Azerbaijan Campaign to Ban Landmines local coordinator from Qazakh district on 15 April 2013, inhabitant of of Khanliglar village 23-year-old Adil Valiyev was exploded on landmine and died on Armenia-Azerbaijan border.

The AzCBL resembles that this is the second case in the last 15 days in the same place. The first incident was on April 2 and the inhabitant of of Khanliglar village Sabir Karimov died after explosion of landmine.

In spite of the cease-fire since 1994 the mine war continues on the land of Azerbaijan.
