Bomb blast in Machh town in SW Pakistan (Pakistan)


The Sui administration has arrested four persons belonging to Kalpar tribe, a sub-section of Bugti tribe, on the charge of planting land-mines between Sui and Dera Bugti towns. Kalpar tribe is considered friendly to the administration and hostile to Nawab Bugti.

QUETTA: Machh town some forty miles from Quetta in Bolan Pass last night was the target of bomb blast shattering the window pans and damaging the walls of several houses.

No loss of life was reported.

The explosion caused panic and scare among people in the town. Police has registered a case against unidentified persons and investigations are proceeding.

According to reports received from Dera Bugti eight persons were seriously injured when their speeding tractor trolley turned turtle while negotiating a turn. The inured belonged to the same family.

They were rushed to the civil hospital Sui where the condition of two injured persons is stated to be precarious.
