Dist chief among three killed in blast (AFGHANISTAN)
KABUL, June 10 (Pajhwok Afghan News): Three people, including deputy district chief and a driver were killed in a landmine explosion in Mosahi district of the central capital on Friday.
Apparently, the mine was planted to target the intelligence chief, but he escaped unhurt in the attack.
Press office of the Interior Ministry said deputy chief of Mosahi district Malim Enzar Gul, another official of the same district Malim Afzal and a driver of the Kabul provincial intelligence chief were killed in the blast.
The mine was planted over a bridge in Mosahi district, near the capital city Friday afternoon. However, Kabul intelligence chief Humayoon Aini escaped unharmed in the attack, press office added.
Intelligence chief of Mosahi district was also wounded in the blast. The officials were returning to Kabul after attending a function in Logar province.
