Landmine unearthed by AP police (India)

Police unearthed a huge landmine from R Ummadivaram village in Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh today.


On a tip off, a police party led by Circle Inspector A Shankar Reddy made a thorough search and unearthed over 30 kg gelatine sticks and other explosive materials from the spot, police said.

Superintendent of Police N Balasubramaniam congratulated Erragondapalem police, which effected the recovery and urged other police stations to emulate it.
