Local Airman Returns From Iraq


A local airman has returned home after almost a year in Iraq. In June, he was hurt when a landmine exploded under his military vehicle.

David Randolph, 21, said the experience has changed his life. He enlisted in the Air Force after graduating from high school in 2003.

In June, he was hurt when a landmine exploded under his military vehicle.

He will spend two weeks at home with his family in Martinsville, Va., and then head back to Oklahoma to wait for his next set of orders.
