LTTE Claymore injures a civilian- Jaffna (Sri Lanka)


The LTTE terrorists exploded a Claymore mine injuring a civilian in Jaffna at 7.30 this morning (Sunday the 10th of September).

The explosion took place near the Hindu College on the Kankasanthurai road in Jaffna town.

The Media Center for National Security says that the Army Soldiers were on a foot patrol in the area at the time of the explosion. Thus, the indented target of the LTTE terrorists was the Security Forces personnel.

The injured civilian was immediately rushed to the Jaffna hospital by the Army personnel.
