One killed in Jaffarabad landmine blast QUETTA (APP): (Pakistan)


One person was killed while another injured when a landmine exploded near residential camp of Shah Zain Bugti, grandson of late-Nawab Akbar Bugti, in Jaffarabad district, in jurisdiction of Chatan Pati police station on Sunday morning, police said.

The landmine went off when victim stepped on the landmine planted underground on farmland of Shah Zain Bugti near his residential camp. Police identified the victim as Ghaws Bakhsh who died on the spot. The injured has been identified as Yar Ali who was shifted to civil hospital Jaffarabad for treatment. Police reached at the spot after the explosion and shifted body of the victim and the injured to the civil hospital. Later, the body of the deceased was handed over to his heirs for burial after conducting medico-legal proceedings. Chatan Pati police station's officials have registered a case against unknown men and started investigation.
