The Russian General Staff stated on Monday that Russia will help the Syrian army in removing landmines which were planted by ISIS terrorists in Palmyra city.

RT Russian website quoted Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, as saying that Russia will send experts from its engineering forces along with special robots to take part in demining the archaeological sites in the ancient city of Palmyra.
