Three landmines unearthed (INDIA)


ANANTAPUR: The police unearthed three powerful landmines planted beneath a culvert near Gangampalli village in Ramagiri mandal in the district on Wednesday.

However, it was not immediately known if they were planted by Maoists or by factional
groups and when they were planted.

As part of the pre-election security arrangements, a special police team conducted road
check for any explosives. Dharmavaram DSP Balasubramanyam and Ramagiri Circle

Inspector Mallikarjuna supervised the unearthing of landmines.
