Two injured as landmine hits passenger vehicle (AFGHANISTAN)

KANDAHAR CITY, May 3 (Pajhwok Afghan News): Two civilians were wounded when their car hit a roadside landmine in the Mezan district of the southern Zabul province.


Provincial security chief Mohammad Rasul told Pajhwok Afghan News on Wednesday the passenger vehicle was on way from provincial capital of Qalat to Mezan district when it hit the mine near the Saleem village last evening.
Rasul added the explosion wounded two passengers, who were rushed to the Qalat hospital for treatment. Condition of one of them is stated to be precarious. The police officer said investigations had been launched in the area to arrest the culprits.
