One person was killed in a landmine explosion on Wednesday in Tuzla, a city 140 km northeast from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH)'s capital, local media reported.
"At 11:10 a.m. this morning, we received a report on the explosion in the municipality Celic, and a 39-year-old man was killed," the Federal Administration of Civil Protection of BiH said in a statement.
Members of the Federal Administration of Civil Protection are currently at the scene together with representatives of civil defense municipalities and cantons. Duty cantonal prosecutor is informed on the case.
BiH still has a lot of unexploded landmines, mainly as a result of the 1992-1995 war.
